About The Author

Bruce Bogart

Bruce Bogart was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and readily boasts that but for college, he’s lived his entire life within five square miles. This lifelong embrace of his roots — from geography through family, friends, and somewhat old-fashioned values — provides him the perfect mosaic from which to craft his first book.

Bogart’s sense of humor has been demonstrated through his performances in nearly three dozen comedies and/or musical comedies on community stages on both sides of his home town. In addition, his comedy team “The Fabulous Boomer Boys”, after a March, 1993 debut on WHK-AM was promoted to “morning drive” where it stayed until spring, 1995. (The show rebooted in 2018 as a weekly webcast performed live before a restaurant audience, and posted regularly on YouTube. The show ended during the pandemic).

He has also appeared thrice on nationally syndicated “Sterling On Sunday”.

Bruce Bogart’s journey will be savored not only for his humor, but because he has filtered it with a serious, sensitive “other side”. Indeed, as the author’s best friends will tell you: Bruce is one of the most intelligent shallow people you might ever meet.
